FrancisFrancis first presented their initial espresso machine creation was the X1 in 1995 and this creation was sold in 28 different countries. This model is very strong and easy to use and has been described as retro yet futuristic. It is available multiple colors including chrome, orange, yellow, green, red and others to suit any need.
It makes its best coffee using ESE coffee pods, which are single servings of coffee sealed in filter paper. It has a 1 or 2-cup filter, removable water tank and a built in tamper. The pressure pump system is 17 bars with built in safety and temperature gauges. This model produces some of the most authentic Italian-style coffees and has even more features to make the coffee brewing process a delight.
The X1 is not the only model available; you can also purchase the X2, X3, X4 and X5 models. Each model has its own unique style and characteristics.
The X2 model is basically 2 X1 models built into one espresso machine. It has metal switches for brewing, steam and power functions. It also has a chrome plated steam wand, which makes it easy to create a good froth.
The X3 is the third model created and was designed for those who want to be cost conscious, yet want a high quality designed product. This model is compact and can fit in any kitchen, but the brass boiler makes it different from all other X models of the FrancisFrancis Espresso Machines.
The X4 is pump driven with 8-9 atmospheres of pressure with a water tank that holds 32 ounces of water. The chrome plated handle maintains the coffee at an ideal temperature.
The X5 is the latest model and features an angular, sloping body. Key features include an all-metal, pump driven machine with boiler constructed of brass. It also delivers 8-9 bars dynamic and 18 bars of static pressure.
Each model has its own unique construction, but no matter which one you choose you can enjoy brewing your own great espresso or coffee.
